Girlies Barn mourns for the death of Michael Jackson and Farah Fawcett

**Not a sale related post again . Paying my last respect to my most favourite entertainer that managed to make me go to his concert when he was in Malaysia despite having PMR the next morning and the entertainer that got me hooked to Charlie's Angels.


The entertainment world suffered a double blow when it was reported today that both pop giant Michael Jackson and 1970s TV star Farrah Fawcett had died in Los Angeles.


The super-star, whose 1982 album Thriller yielded seven top-ten singles and sold 21 million copies, reportedly suffered a cardiac arrest and was pronounced dead by doctors after arriving at a hospital in a deep coma this morning.

Jackson’s death brought a tragic end to a long, bizarre, sometimes farcical decline from his peak in the 1980s, when he was popular music’s premier all-around performer, a uniter of black and white music who shattered the race barrier on MTV, dominated the charts and dazzled even more on stage.


Meanwhile, Actress Farrah Fawcett, the Charlie's Angels television star whose big smile and feathered blonde mane made her one of the reigning sex symbols of the 1970s, has died after a long battle with cancer.

She was 62.

The pop culture icon, who in the 1980s set aside the fantasy girl image to tackle serious roles, died shortly before 9:30am in a Santa Monica hospital.
